If you plan to change your name on your ticket that you had previously booked with Air Canada, and the reason can be, misspelling your name at the time of booking, you have changed your name legally, etc., then Air Canada provides the mode to change your name, but before getting into the process, know about the Air Canada Name Change Policy:

  • Passengers are allowed to amend the minor spelling issue in the name if it occurred or if they made a mistake while making your reservation. 
  • Passengers can request to change a name either by calling on customer executive phone number or by visiting the official website of Air Canada.
  • If you have changed your name recently legally, then you are allowed to change your name by producing authentic documents or proofs to the airlines,
  • If you make changes in your name within 24 hours of your booking, you will incur no additional cost, but if the changes are being made after 24 hours, around 60$ will be charged by Air Canada. 
  • If you have planned to change your last name with Air Canada, you will be required to present the legal documents as prescribed under Air Canada Name Change Policy.

  • Tap on “Manage Bookings: available on the homepage of the website, to continue with the procedure to change your name.
  • Then enter your booking number and passenger’s last name to continue with the process.
  • Then tap on “Find,” and you are required to locate your flight out of all the flights there.
  • Open the flight (in which you want to make changes to your misspelled name.) there, and you can make amendments to your name, flights, etc.
